Job summary

Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiology procedures and ensure safety and compliance in a hospital or clinic setting.

The role requires an accredited radiology degree and ARRT certification, with 1–2 years of experience. You will maintain patient confidentiality, coordinate with physicians and staff, and participate in department meetings to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Certificate or Associate degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Current ARRT certification.
  • 1–2 years experience as Radiology Technologist in hospital or clinic.
  • Knowledge of radiology exam policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers.
  • Uses equipment in compliance with safety requirements.
  • Complies with HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
  • Reports patient complaints or concerns to the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees and other departments.
  • Responds to patient questions to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
  • Attends required department staff meetings.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
