Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist for evening shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. The role requires Oregon Radiographer licensure, ARRT certification within 180 days, and BLS.

Job description

Radiology Technologist – Providence Milwaukie Hospital

Part‑time Evening Shift – Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.–11:30 p.m. and Monday 1 p.m.–9:30 p.m.

$4,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible external candidates. Compensation and benefits begin on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physician orders utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account individual patient’s unique and/or age‑related needs. Uses clinical knowledge and judgment regarding proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment required to produce optimal high‑quality images. Performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator while observing ALARA awareness.

Qualifications

• Education that meets certification, license, or registration requirements.
• Oregon Radiographer License upon hire or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
• Required National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 180 days of hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• New graduates must hold an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay range: $36.99–$57.44 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call duties, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
