Job description

Position Overview

Radiology Technologist at Providence Portland Medical Center, Portland, OR. Full‑time day shift. $6,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible external candidates. Pay range $36.99 – $57.44 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging examinations according to physicians’ orders using a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment.
• Consider each patient’s unique and age‑related needs, applying clinical knowledge and judgment for proper positioning, technique and radiation dose calibration.
• Ensure high‑quality images while maintaining minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator, following ALARA principles.

Required Qualifications
  • Education that meets certification, license or registration requirements.
  • Oregon Radiographer License upon hire or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 180 days of hire.
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
  • New graduates must hold an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
