Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a part-time evening shift (Sat-Sun 11:00 am–11:30 pm, Mon 1:00 pm–9:30 pm). You will perform imaging exams per physician orders, using a variety of imaging equipment, while adhering to ALARA principles to protect patients and staff.

Strong patient positioning and dose calibration skills are essential for high-quality diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License upon hire.
• Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
• Required National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Part-Time/Evening Shift - Saturday and Sunday from 11am-11:30pm and Monday from 1pm - 9:30pm

$4,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account individual patients unique and/or age-related needs. Utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment in regard for proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration of technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal high quality images. Performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
