Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR is hiring a Radiology Technologist. Flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time positions for day and evening shifts. Imaging exams performed per physician orders using advanced equipment with ALARA principles.

Qualified applicants must hold Oregon Radiographer license or temporary license, ARRT certification within 6 months, and BLS. New graduates must obtain OBMI temporary license and convert within 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Various Shifts and Schedules Available! Flexible scheduling in Full-Time and Part-Time positions for Days and Evening Shifts!

Full-Time $6,000

Part-Time $4,000

The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account individual patients unique and/or age-related needs. Utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment in regard for proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration of technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal high quality images. Performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness.

Required Qualifications
  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Oregon Radiographer License upon hire, Or
  • Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
