• Maintains daily log of treatments.

• Answer patient questions as they relate to the procedure.

Position Title: Radiology Technologist

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Radiology Department

Reports To: Director of Clinical Support

POSITION SUMMARY:

Produces x-ray images by performing x-ray procedures requested by the physician using radiology equipment. Follows established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety. Maintains records and files and assists with other related duties.

Wage Range: $30.22 per hour to $45.34 per hour

The actual wage is dependent on the applicant’s relevant experience and qualifications for this position. The wage range for this position may be subject to change in the future depending on a variety of factors such as market conditions, business needs, legal developments, and other appropriate factors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Certification/Licensure:

• Valid State of Hawaii driver’s license

STANDARD FOR PATIENT CARE POSITIONS:

• Current State of Hawaii Radiographer licensure.
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS certification

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and completion of a formal radiologic training program.

Skills/Experience:

• Ability to safely and effectively manage patients’ mobility.

• At least two (2) years recent experience as an X-Ray Technician in an acute care setting.
