Job summary

Sentara Urgent Care South Boston is hiring a Part-Time Radiology Technologist in South Boston, VA to perform general diagnostic radiology imaging under physician supervision.

Clinic hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday–Friday, with Saturday–Sunday 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Rotating weekend shifts; phlebotomy competency may be required; registry-eligible within 90 days.

Sentara offers market-competitive pay with base hourly range $30.39–$44.74, plus incentives and benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered or registry-eligible radiologic technologist
• Licensure as Rad Tech in Virginia required or obtainable within 90 days of hire
• Phlebotomy competency may be required at some sites

Responsibilities

Sentara Urgent Care South Boston is now hiring a Part-Time Radiology Technologist in South Boston, VA!

Schedule

Clinic hours - 7:00a.m. - 7:00p.m. Monday-Friday. Saturday and Sunday, 8am-4pm. Rotating weekend schedule requirement, 4p-8p shifts during the week for 20 hours/week.

As a Radiology Technologist, you will conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications.

Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.

Certification/Licensure

• Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must be registered within 90 days of hire.
• Licensed Rad Tech required for staff employed in Virginia.
