Job summary

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging while adhering to ALARA safety standards. The role will transition to Nights.

Responsibilities include imaging X-rays and fluoroscopy, patient positioning and care, equipment calibration, maintaining MEDITECH records, and ensuring high-quality images. Prior ARRT certification and FL CRT licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification.
• Florida Department of Health CRT licensure.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Imaging & Procedures: Perform X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other diagnostic images while applying ionizing radiation safety protocols (ALARA).
• Patient Care: Prepare, transfer, and position patients, ensuring modesty and comfort.
• Equipment Management: Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment, including CR units and shielding.
• Technical Proficiency: Select appropriate exposure factors to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Documentation: Update patient records and clinical history in MEDITECH.
• Transition to Nights role.
