Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist at the Cherry Hill Campus to perform x-ray scans and support physicians in diagnoses. You will explain procedures, obtain relevant history, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging sessions.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, accurate record-keeping in RIS/PACS, and adherence to radiation safety standards. ARRT certification (R) is preferred, with a strong emphasis on patient communication and quality imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology Technologist certification (R) or ARRT registry in Radiology preferred.
• Knowledge of RIS systems and PACS imaging platforms.
• Ability to position radiographic equipment accurately for diagnostic quality images.
• Strong communication with patients and staff regarding procedures and safety.

Responsibilities

• Position radiographic equipment or x-ray film to obtain images with proper detail.
• Explain the procedure to patients and gather medical history relevant to the exam.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiology team during procedures.
• Maintain and test x-ray equipment; document results and report issues.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate RIS/Billing records.
