SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Radiology Technologist is Responsible for performing a variety of standardized radiological examinations, for setting up and adjusting related equipment and devices, and for maintaining related records. Performs standardized radiological examinations involving proper positioning of patient, techniques, and operation of equipment. Reports directly to the Team Leader of General Diagnostic Radiology or Lead Technical Specialist.Work is typically performed in a tertiary care center on both house patients and clinic patients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.). or registry eligible.
  • CPR certification
