Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Radiology Technologist for Morrow County Hospital on a 32-hour weekly night shift (Thu–Sat) with every 4th weekend hours. The role involves preparing patients, performing diagnostic radiology procedures and fluoroscopy, and ensuring radiation safety for staff and patients.

The incumbent will obtain diagnostic radiographs, position patients, and adjust technical factors to achieve optimal images while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.
• Registered with ARRT; ODH Ohio Radiologic License, BLS certification.
• Thorough knowledge of radiology procedures, positioning, radiation safety and terminology.
• Excellent customer service, communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic procedures and fluoroscopy studies with proficient image quality and radiation safety.
• Obtains diagnostic radiographs, positions patients, adjusts factors for optimal images, and repeats as needed.
• Prepares patients for examination, explains procedures, verifies identity, and ensures proper attire.
• Performs miscellaneous duties including QC tests and assisting imaging students as needed.
