Job summary

The CORE Institute is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for on-site clinic support in Phoenix, AZ. You will perform radiographic imaging, ensure patient safety, document histories, and assist the radiologist with Arthrogram procedures, while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality care.

Required are ARRT certification, an associate degree or equivalent, state licensure, CPR, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or Certification from a Credentialed Radiology School.
• Minimum of one year of previous experience.
• Current State licensure and ARRT certification.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient and exam, document patient history.
• Position patients and select appropriate radiographic technique.
• Maintain infection control standards and PPE.
• Educate patient about procedures and results.
• Operate and calibrate radiology equipment as trained.
• Stock supplies and keep equipment clean.

Qualifications

• Completion of AssociatesEprogram in Radiologic Technology or Certification from a Credentialled Radiology School, with ARRT Certification.
• Minimum of one year of previous experience.
• Current State and ARRT licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Essential Functions

• Correctly identifies patient and corresponding exam. Obtains and documents patient history.
• Demonstrates proper positioning, radiographic techniques, and cassette screen/grid combinations to ensure high quality examinations.
• Practice standard precautions and maintain infection control standards.
• Educate patient regarding procedures and related information.
• Properly operate equipment as demonstrated by observation and audit.
• Cleans equipment and stocks supplies as needed.
• Demonstrate cooperative, positive and professional patient care and customer service.
• Consistently maintain complete confidentiality of all medical, financial, employee, computer or other sensitive material which may jeopardize the privacy of others.
• Perform and support quality assurance/CQI programs and processes.
• Demonstrate commitment to organizational goals.
• Attend all mandatory in-services and training.
• Assist the Radiologist with Arthrogram procedures. Must demonstrate appropriate sterile procedure skills.
• Performs any other duties assigned.
