Qualifications

• ARRT (RT) registered
• LRT Kansas licensure within 3 months of employment
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Explains procedures to patient/family accurately and to customer satisfaction.
• Maintains all equipment.
• Performs exams or assists with diagnostic procedures in line with state scope of practice.
• Communicates professionally with customers.
• Assists physician as needed for procedures.
• Maintains certifications, licensure and competencies.
• Performs patient examinations safely and efficiently.
• Maintains patient records and documents data.
• Obtains appropriate orders and history for imaging exams.
• Operates imaging equipment with emphasis on patient care and ALARA.
• Facilitates surgical and orthopedic imaging as needed.
