MUSC Community Physicians is seeking a radiology technician to perform medical exams using X-rays and to assist with ultrasound imaging within Chester Ortho & Sports Medicine. The role involves operating portable X-ray equipment, ensuring equipment readiness, and maintaining a clean, efficient work area while supporting diagnostic processes.

Responsibilities include performing radiographic exams, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with physicians to deliver accurate imaging and patient

• Maintains x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order
• Performs complex diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures
• Requires organization, time management and prioritization of patient exams

• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work area, requests and orders supplies as necessary to keep materials on hand at all times.
• Performs other miscellaneous and related duties as required including lifting and transporting patients.
• Performs complex diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures to ensure comprehensive and diagnostic accuracy in a professional manner.
• This role requires organization, time management and prioritization of patient exams to contribute to effective teamwork.
