Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a Radiology leader in Wisconsin to manage the daily operations of interventional imaging services. The role requires ARRT-R, radiology program completion, and two years of experience, with a full-time schedule in a diagnostic radiology department.

You will oversee imaging quality, staff training, and regulatory compliance, while collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification.
• Minimum of 2 years radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality imaging and patient care; monitor workflow.
• Oversee quality control, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Serve as a resource to department staff as needed.
• Conduct staff orientation, training, and coaching; participate in evaluations.
• Position patients and select accurate anatomic/technical parameters.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Submit high-quality images and patient data to PACS accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.
• Remain alert and work safely; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary: Leads the daily operations of interventional imaging services.

Primary Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• Ensures quality imaging, patient care and work flow. Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
• Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.
• Serves as a resource to department staff as well as other members of the team as needed.
• Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provides input to staff performance evaluations.
• Helps position patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
• Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program

Experience

• Two years' experience

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
• Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent lifting/moving of patients.
• Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors.
• Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Rare kneeling and sitting.
