Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with fixed and portable radiology equipment across multiple hospital units. You will be a role model for Radiology staff and may participate in after-hours standby on a rotational or seniority basis.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, is ARRT registry eligible, WA XT licensed, and will obtain ARRT within 6 months, plus WA RT license within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required from an accredited program.
• ARRT registry eligible upon hire; WA state XT registration required.
• Acquire ARRT credential within 6 months of employment.
• Washington State RT license required within 3 months of obtaining ARRT.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification required upon hire.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic exams using fixed radiology equipment and portable x-ray/fluoroscopic equipment across units (inpatient, ED, surgery, SPU, pain management).
• Serve as a role model and resource for radiology staff.
• May standby on a rotational or seniority basis for after-hours/holiday coverage.

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology

ARRT registry eligible

Washington State X-Ray Technician (XT) registration

ARRT certification within 6 months

Washington RT license within 3 months

Healthcare Provider CPR certification
