Job summary

Overlake Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic exams across multiple departments using fixed and portable radiology equipment. You may float to outpatient imaging sites to meet department needs and may standby after hours or holidays as required.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree, ARRT registry eligibility, and WA X-Ray Technician registration with CPR and CME requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited radiology program (required).
• ARRT registry eligible at hire and WA X-Ray Technician (XT) registration.
• ARRT certification within 6 months of employment as Radiologic Technologist I; annual ARRT renewal evidence by primary source.
• WA RT license (Radiologic Technologist) within 3 months of obtaining ARRT; biannual license renewal.
• Healthcare Provider CPR required at hire.
• Staff Radiology position – hospital experience preferred.
• Requires 24 CME credits every two years per ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic exams per guidelines using fixed radiology equipment, portable X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment across inpatient units, ED, surgery, SPU and pain management.
• May float to outpatient imaging locations (e.g., Issaquah, Redmond, or OMT) to meet department needs.
• Serve as a role model and resource; work in a team or independently as required.
• May be scheduled for standby on a rotational or seniority basis for after-hours and holidays.
