Job summary

Overlake is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic exams across inpatient units, ED, surgery, SPU and pain management, with potential float to outpatient imaging locations. Teamwork and independence are valued; standby coverage may be required after hours and on holidays.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree, ARRT registry eligibility, WA XT registration, and state license within specified timelines; CPR is required and hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited radiology program required.
• Must be ARRT registry eligible upon hire and licensed as an X-Ray Technician (XT) by the State of Washington.
• Acquire ARRT within 6 months of employment as Radiologic Technologist and renew annually.
• Washington RT license required within 3 months after ARRT attainment; renewal biannually with DOH verification.
• Healthcare Provider CPR required upon hire.
• For Staff Radiology, previous hospital experience preferred.
• Requires 24 CME credits every two years per ARRT mandate.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiologic exams per guidelines and department protocols.
• Operates fixed radiology equipment, portable x-ray and fluoroscopic systems.
• Collaborates with care providers to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.
