Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston, part of the Optum family, seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams, adhere to safety standards, and support radiology workflows using RIS and PACS. You will work across locations and coordinate with radiologists.

Required ARRT-MR or equivalent and BLS; strong communication with patients and team; commitment to quality care and ongoing learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR license or eligible to practice.
• ARMRIT or equivalent credential.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• ARRT-imaging radiography, MRI-related credentials (6 months MRI experience where specified).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic MRI exams according to policy and protocol.
• Implements safety measures and uses appropriate imaging coils.
• Maintains RIS and PACS documentation for radiologist review.
• Participates in routine QC, equipment maintenance and supply management.
• Communicates effectively with patients, radiologists, and staff.
