Job summary

Banner Health in Casper, Wyoming is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures in a busy hospital setting. The role emphasizes patient education, accuracy, and high-quality images within a supportive, teamwork-oriented department.

Shifts are full-time, 36 hours per week with 9-hour varied shifts starting at 7:00am; compensation includes a $10,000 sign-on and relocation assistance, along with Banner Health's Total Rewards benefits package.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program.
• Requires ARRT national certification and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• This position requires 1 year of experience.
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, analyze data and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with department policies and ensures quality patient care.
• Educates patients and families regarding the procedure and risks and maintains professional conduct.
• Produces high-quality images and prepares documentation for interpretation.
• Demonstrates competence in prescribed radiographic procedures as applicable.
• Performs equipment quality control and maintains a safe environment.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical and legal radiology responsibilities.
• Ensures smooth department workflow and inventory management.
• Independently performs radiographic procedures following policies for various patients.
