Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• National Certification required from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or NMTCB CNMT.
• State Licensure required for WY (and AZ, NV; CO not required).
• Advanced CT certification within 18 months of hire (ARRT CT or NMTCB CT).
• BLS certification is required.
• Two years of clinical radiology experience typically required.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures by following and verifying orders.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and treatments.
• Produces high quality images and maintains documentation.
• Performs and evaluates equipment quality control and maintains safety.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to policies.
• Ensures efficient department workflow and inventory.
