Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a Radiology Imaging Technologist for the Milwaukee, WI area. The role focuses on accurate patient positioning, selecting appropriate imaging factors, and producing high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic review.

Responsibilities include patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education to ensure safety and readiness for imaging exams; data entry and PACS transfers with precise markers; and strict adherence to radiation safety while maintaining a clean

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date.
• NMTCB credentialed prior to hire date; MR boards ARRT within 12 months.
• ARRT MR credentialed within 12 months of hire date.
• ARDMS MR credentialed prior to hire date; MR boards ARRT within 12 months.
• ARMRIT credentialed prior to hire date or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Position patients accurately and select precise technical factors to produce high-quality cross-sectional images.
• Manage patient pre-screening, scheduling, and clinical education for imaging examinations.
• Execute patient data entry and image transfers to PACS with accurate lead markers and history.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly clinical environment.
