Qualifications

• Active Radiography certificate from the State of Florida is required.
• ARRT(R) examination must be taken if not already.
• BLS/CPR certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes as appropriate.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedure(s) with correct exposure factors.
• Ensure safety standards and perform quality control on equipment.
• Occasionally take on-call shifts as required by the department.
• Educate patient about procedures and ensure understanding and cooperation.
