Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform ionizing radiation procedures and operate imaging equipment, producing films for radiologist review. You will maintain professional relations with staff and work under the Imaging Supervisor.

The ideal candidate has ARRT-R Radiography certification, RT Radiologic Technologist credential, Basic Life Support, and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification required.
• 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures involving ionizing radiation to detect pathology or treat disease.
• Operates all imaging department equipment and develops/organizes films for radiologist review.
• Maintains rapport and professional relationships with colleagues, other departments, and Medical Staff.
• Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.
