McLeod Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist II for our Darlington Urgent Care Center. The role performs a broad range of imaging procedures with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

This on-site, full-time position requires solid ARRT credentials, BLS, and SC SCRQS certification. Ideal candidates will have prior radiology experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality documentation in the EMR system.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 2+ years of related radiology experience.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) with ARRT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• SCRQS certification (South Carolina)

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists patients, explains procedures clearly, and ensures appropriate attire.
• Performs routine and complex radiographic exams, including OR and fluoroscopy, following protocol; positions patients accurately.
• Selects and applies appropriate technical factors based on body habitus and pathology; monitors patient and equipment during procedures.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and verifies image quality.
• Performs additional duties to support department and organizational goals.
