McLeod Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist II to independently perform a wide range of imaging procedures and demonstrate proficiency in multiple modalities. You will greet patients, explain procedures clearly, and ensure proper attire for procedures.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, 2+ years of experience, ARRT RT registration, BLS, SCRQS, and strong computer and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• 2+ years of related experience.

• Performs routine and complex radiographic exams and imaging procedures, including OR and fluoroscopy procedures following established protocols; position patients accurately.
• Selects and applies appropriate technical factors based on body habitus and pathology; maintains attention to patient and equipment during procedures.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of imaging equipment and ensures proper operation.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and verifies image quality.
• Performs additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Job Summary

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
• 2+ years of related experience

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards (SCRQS) certification

Essential Skills

• Strong computer skills.
• Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
