Job summary

Lake Huron Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography, CT, mammography, and other imaging procedures per department protocols.

The role interfaces directly with patients to address imaging needs and participates in quality initiatives, while ensuring equipment and supplies are managed effectively. A strong emphasis on teamwork and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures (diagnostic radiography, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound or specials) per department protocols.
• Interfaces with customers and fulfills imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program.
• Oversees radiology area and staff in Manager's/Director's absence.
• Maintains department supplies.
• Promotes teamwork and customer service.
• Schedules for sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
