Job summary

Lake Huron Medical Center in Michigan is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, and other procedures per department protocols.

You will be the first line interface with patients, ensure image quality, and support performance improvement efforts while maintaining supplies and equipment. A fluoroscopy permit and two national certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
• National certifications in two modalities required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures according to department protocols.
• Interfaces with customers to fulfill imaging needs and promotes teamwork.
• Maintains supplies and equipment; participates in PI/QC activities and supports Performance Improvement.
• Oversees radiology area in Manager/Director absence and ensures proper transmission of images to PACS.
