Job summary

Candidates must have vocational/technical radiography training, an Associate's degree in Radiography, MA Rad Tech licensure by start date, ARRT registration, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training in Medical Radiography required.
• Associate's degree in Medical Radiography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic exams and sets up equipment.
• Enters instructions into computer systems and evaluates images for accuracy.
• Assesses image quality and completeness; adjusts as needed.
• Explains procedures clearly and maintains hand hygiene; monitors patient condition.
• Reports any changes to nurse or physician.
