Overview

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, CT Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Acts as the first point of contact with customers, ensuring their imaging needs are met successfully. Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities. Assists in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program. Oversees radiology area and/or staff in the Manager's or Director's absence. Maintains department supplies. Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service. Handles scheduling for assigned sub-departments and maintains supplies and equipment. Responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.

Acts as the first line interface with customers, ensuring their imaging needs are met. Participates in PI/QC activities. Assists in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program. Oversees radiology area and/or staff in the absence of the Manager or Director. Maintains department supplies. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Handles scheduling for assigned sub-departments, and maintains supplies and equipment. Responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.

Morning, Mid, and Night shifts available!

2-3 days a week, with potential to pick up more shifts and receive OT!

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Effective July 1, 2017, appropriate national certifications in two modalities are required.
• Current BLS certification upon hire, with maintenance of current certification.
• Familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of acute clinical radiography experience preferred.
• Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program.
• Proficient computer skills.
