Job summary

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is hiring a Radiology Technologist I to capture diagnostic-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. You will work with radiologists and staff to ensure efficient operations and accurate documentation in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and BCLS within 30 days of hire. Mon-Fri daytime shift, opportunities for professional growth and competitive pay with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• State licensure as radiologic technologist required
• BCLS within 30 days of hire required

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures with diagnostic quality while prioritizing patient safety.
• Maintain ALARA principles and participate in Image Gently/Image Wisely programs.
• Prepare patients, verify orders, identify patients using two identifiers, and explain procedures for comfort.
• Demonstrate population-appropriate competencies for all relevant patient demographics.
• Maintain imaging equipment per infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment.
• Document and organize images in PACS for radiologist interpretation and ensure proper records.
• Communicate effectively with peers and healthcare teams to support patient care delivery.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to policies.
