Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist I to obtain diagnostic-quality radiographs while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. The role collaborates with physicians to support efficient operations and high-quality patient care.

The Radiology Technologist I will perform procedures independently, apply ALARA principles, prepare patients, verify orders and document images in PACS.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of clinical radiologic technologist experience.
• ARRT certification required.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures independently.
• Follow ALARA and image safety programs to minimize exposure.
• Prepare patients, verify orders, identify patients, explain procedures.
• Assist CT/MRI with IV contrast injections per policy.
• Document scans to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, ensure infection control and safety.
• Communicate effectively with staff and physicians.
• Maintain attendance and comply with policies.
