Job summary

North-Okaloosa-Medical-Center in Crestview, FL seeks a Radiology Technologist I for a part-time day shift to obtain diagnostic-quality radiographs while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

You will collaborate with radiologists and clinicians, follow ALARA guidelines, prepare patients, verify orders, document in PACS, and maintain imaging equipment and supplies. ARRT certification and state licensure required; BCLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state.
• BCLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain diagnostic-quality radiographs independently, following positioning guidelines.
• Adhere to ALARA and safety standards; participate in Image Gently/Wisely programs.
• Prepare patients, verify orders, identify patients using two identifiers, and explain procedures.
• Maintain imaging equipment and infection control; organize supplies and equipment.
• Document and file procedures in PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Communicate effectively with peers and clinicians to support patient care.
