Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Radiographer I in Rio Rancho, NM to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging per established protocols. The ideal candidate demonstrates patient safety, compassionate care, and strong customer service.

The role includes opportunities for tuition reimbursement, safety programs, and shift differentials. Responsibilities include fluoroscopic and radiographic exams, coordinating with Radiologists, and maintaining RIS/PACS/EPIC systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• NM Radiography Technologist (RRT) license required.
• ARRT R.T.(R) certification required.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited fluoroscopic imaging procedures as deemed competent.
• Perform radiographic exams and review orders/history with the Radiologist.
• Maintain RIS/PACS and EPIC systems; mentor new staff.
• Complete all mandatory education and radiation safety training.
• Communicate with radiologists/managers/co-workers about patient safety and information.
• Verify orders match patient chart; ensure licensure renewals before expiration.
• Conduct daily QA/QC/room checks and equipment checks; manage supplies.
• Adjust technical factors per protocol to obtain diagnostic images.
• Clean and sanitize equipment per sterile practices.
