Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• NM Radiography Tech (RRT) or Temp NM Radiography Tech is required.
• ARRT R.T.(R) certification is required; BLS certification is required at time of hire.
• Associate degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Maintains department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance and safety.
• Performs radiographic examinations.
• Checks equipment, supplies and accessories regularly.
• Develops film and evaluates technical quality.
• Keeps radiography rooms clean and organized.
• Transports patients to radiographic rooms and back as needed.
• Attends meetings and participates in continuing education.
