Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is looking for a Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic imaging in a multi-disciplinary team. The role operates in a designated radiography area, with coverage across sites as needed.

ARRT registration is required within 90 days of hire. Required credentials include Radiologic Technologist license (MA) and 0–1 year radiology experience preferred. Onsite at 45 Francis Street, 36 hours weekly, Evening shift; a generous sign-on bonus of $20,000 is

Qualifications

• Must have interpersonal skills to work with patients and staff.
• Excellent attention to detail and written/spoken English.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with radiation physics and ALARA.
• Ability to operate radiographic equipment and position patients.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient and exam with interview and records.
• Explain exam to patient considering language needs.
• Adjust equipment to safe imaging settings per protocol.
• Perform imaging using appropriate radiographic equipment.
• Ensure exams are labeled and transmitted to PACS.
