Sentara Urgent Care Chimney Hill in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Part-Time Radiology Technologist to join our team. You will perform general diagnostic radiology imaging under physician supervision, including patient positioning, operation of x-ray equipment, and preparation of rooms and materials.

The role requires Virginia licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, or eligibility, with registry within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Licensed radiologic technologist required for Virginia employment.
• Registry-eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT; must be registered within 90 days of hire.
• Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for sites performing Radiology and Lab.

Hours

Mon-Fri, 8a-8p, Weekends, 8a-4p. Part Time 20 hours/week.

As a Radiology Technologist, you will conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications.

Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.

Certification/Licensure

• Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must be registered within 90 days of hire.
• Licensed Rad Tech required for staff employed in Virginia.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $33.25 - $49.11 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
