Founded in Stockton, CA, Dignity Health—St. Joseph's Medical Center, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging across all developmental stages.

You will perform fixed and portable radiographs, prioritizing patient comfort, safety, and clear communication with patients and families. Ideal candidates hold a CA Radiology Technologist license, graduate from a radiology program, and have CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Graduate of a Radiology Program.
• Less than 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience.
• CA Radiology Technologist license.
• Fluoroscopy within 90 Days.
• Basic Life Support - CPR.

Responsibilities

• Performs fixed and portable radiographs ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Upholds the organization's mission and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
• Respects patient/family rights and privacy during imaging procedures.
• Identifies and reports any potential abuse/neglect when observed.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will help our patients and their families receive high-quality diagnostic imaging services across all developmental stages so they can achieve accurate diagnoses and better health outcomes.

Every day you will perform a variety of fixed and portable radiographs, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the process. You will be expected to uphold the organization's mission and core values, actively participate in performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong technical skills in operating radiologic equipment, a comprehensive understanding of patient care needs from infancy to geriatrics, and excellent communication abilities to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.


• Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.


• Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.


• Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.


• Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.


• Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible for the Sign-On Bonus. However, we are offering a Referral Bonus for this role.
