Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare seeks a Phlebotomy Technician to support the Diagnostic Imaging department, perform radiographic exams, and ensure patient care and safety.

The role uses PACS and EMR systems, maintains IV/contrast competency, follows radiation protection protocols, and communicates clearly with the care team while maintaining equipment and room readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology or certificate program required.
• ARRT, IEMA and BLS certifications required.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment safely and follow radiation protection protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic exams.
• Utilizes PACS and EMR systems.
• Maintains IV and contrast competency.
• Follows protocols for patient positioning, exposure control, and radiation safety.
• Communicates clearly with the patient care team.
• Cleans and inspects imaging equipment.
• Cleans and stocks imaging rooms.

• Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
• Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
• Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.

Compensation

(Commensurate with experience): $28.8 To $44.64
