Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic imaging in accordance with department policies. You may rotate through ambulatory surgery centers and utilize fluoroscopic and digital radiography, CR technology, RIS, and PACS.

Required are a high school diploma, AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT(R) eligibility, MRT-General Certificate, and BLS. Strong communication skills and potential bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Eligible for ARRT (R) registry.
• Graduate Technologist designation as defined by the Texas Medical Board or ARRT status within one year of eligibility.
• MRT-General Certificate.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Proven ability to use computer keyboard and digital image acquisition.
• Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain radiographs as ordered by a physician according to department policies and protocols.
• Operate radiographic equipment including fluoroscopic and digital radiography with CR imaging.
• Rotate through locations to provide radiographic support and use RIS/PACS for clerical tasks.
