Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures with a focus on safety and quality. You will position patients, operate radiographic equipment, and document clinical history accurately.

The role requires ARRT certification, Florida licensure, and current BLS. C-Arm experience is a plus. This on-site position supports a busy Diagnostic Imaging department within a leading health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid Florida licensure as Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT certification.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• C-Arm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy/physiology for interpretation or intervention.
• Exercises professional judgment while maintaining a quality-care demeanor.
• Assesses patient condition and ensures successful completion of procedures.
• Adheres to radiation safety principles and regulations.
• Positioning patients and adjusting equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Ensures patient identification and accurate documentation of history and records.
• Monitors patient safety and responds to adverse reactions to contrast medications.

Education

Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Florida State licensure as Radiologic Technologist

ARRT certification
