Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a General Radiology Technologist for Barnes Jewish Hospital – North Campus. The role covers general radiography for inpatients and outpatients, including portable imaging and OR C-Arm work, with a 3:00 PM–11:30 PM shift and no on-call requirements.

New grads and experienced technologists are welcome. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school equivalency (or higher).
• R.T.(R) certification as Radiology Technologist is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures with high customer service standards.

Role Purpose

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders

Responsibilities

Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism. Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
