Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis is hiring a Full-Time General Radiology Technologist (Imaging) for the Plaza West Tower – Main Floor General Radiology. The role offers a day shift (Mon-Thu, 9am–7:30pm) with no call or weekends and includes extra holiday pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

New grads and experienced Radiologic Technologists are welcome to apply; on-the-job training is provided and certification as RT(R) plus BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher); students currently enrolled may apply.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - RT(R).
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
