BJC HealthCare is seeking a Radiology Technologist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Missouri for a full-time overnight position. You will perform radiographic imaging independently, including in OR and ER settings, with Siemens and portables from Samsung and Carestream.

A sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates and new grads are welcome to apply. The role requires an associate degree or higher and ARRT certification.

BJC HealthCare System is seeking a Full-Time Radiology Technologist for Barnes-Jewish Hospital – New Plaza West Tower (main level)

Position Details:

• 4 days per week (36 hours)!!!
• Overnight Shift: Monday – Thursday (7pm – 6am)
• In-house patients & OR

• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently
• Occasional time in the Operating Room (OR)
• Portable exams and other tasks assigned by the department
• Work independently in the emergency room (ER)
• Siemens equipment in our ED and a combination of Samsung and Carestream portables

Experience:

• No experience necessary
• New grads, upcoming grads, Student Radiology Tech and experienced Radiologic Technologists
• Radiologic Technologist, x-ray technologist, x ray technologist, Upcoming Radiology Student graduate, Radiologic Technologist, x-ray technologist, x ray technologist

Role Purpose

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on‑call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
