Job summary

Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR is seeking a Radiology Technologist for full-time night shift. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates who meet payment conditions, with a comprehensive benefits package beginning on day one.

The Radiology Technologist will perform imaging exams per physician orders, use advanced imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and accurate image quality with ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License required on hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging examinations according to physicians orders using a variety of imaging equipment.
• Utilizes clinical knowledge to properly position patients and calibrate radiation dose to produce high quality images.
• Aims to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff following ALARA principles.

Full-Time/Night Shift

Responsibilities

The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account individual patients unique and/or age-related needs. Utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment in regard for proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration of technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal high quality images. Performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Pay Range: $34.49 - $53.55 per hour. Base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
