Job summary

Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team on a full-time night shift. The position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates and a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one.

You will perform imaging exams per physician orders, ensure proper positioning, calibrate doses, and maintain ALARA standards to deliver high-quality images while minimizing exposure.

Qualifications

• Oregon licensure as Radiographer required at hire.
• Oregon Radiographer Temporary License required at hire.
• OBMI temporary license required for new grads and must obtain permanent license within 6 months.
• ARRT national certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging examinations according to physician orders utilizing imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety.
• Apply proper patient positioning, dose calibration, and technique to produce high-quality images.
• Maintain ALARA standards to minimize radiation exposure for patient and staff.

Full‑time Night Shift

$6,000 Sign‑on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

Job Responsibilities

The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account individual patients’ unique and/or age‑related needs. Utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment regarding proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration of technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal high‑quality images. Performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness.

Required Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer Temporary License
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $34.49 - $53.55 per hour.

Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
