Job summary

HCA Florida Vero Beach Emergency is seeking a Radiology Technologist FSED to join our imaging team. You will perform radiographic procedures, operate X-ray equipment, and ensure ALARA standards are followed to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT-R Radiography credentials, RT Radiologic Technologist certification, and an Associate Degree. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to a level II trauma

• RT Radiologic Technologist certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures with ionizing radiation per ALARA standards.
• Administers intravenous contrast when indicated.
• Sets up equipment to expose radiographs and develops/ organizes films.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Administers intravenous diagnostic contrast agents, regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and organizes films.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (ARRT-R) Radiography

• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer

• Associate Degree
