Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic exams with independent judgment and high patient care standards.

You will process images, verify image quality, ensure proper patient demographics in RIS/PACS, and support the clinical team while maintaining radiation safety.

Required qualifications include CA CRT, AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals, and CA Fluoroscopy Permit; ACLS within 1 year for Cath Lab.

Qualifications

• CRT certification from CA Department of Public Health is REQUIRED.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals is REQUIRED.
• California Fluoroscopy Permit required; new graduates or out-of-state applicants must pass the Fluoro Permit exam within the first 6 months of employment.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire (Cath Lab only).

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe, clean working environment and adheres to safety procedures.
• Operates x-ray equipment to perform radiographic exams as ordered by the physician.
• Performs image quality checks and ensures demographic accuracy in RIS/PACS.
• Provides assistance with fluoroscopic examinations and supports clinical team members as needed.
