Job summary

Sharp Tri-City Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Evening Shift. The role performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with attention to radiation safety and image accuracy. You will manage patient care, data entry into RIS/PACS, and collaborate with the clinical team.

Required CRT and BLS, with California Fluoroscopy Permit within 6 months. ACLS within 1 year for Cath Lab. ARRT preferred; this is a full-time evening position in Oceanside, CA.

Qualifications

• CRT – CA Dept of Public Health, REQUIRED
• AHA BLS Healthcare Professional, REQUIRED
• California Fluoroscopy Permit – required within first 6 months
• ACLS within 1 year of hire (Cath Lab only)
• ARRT Certificate – PREFERRED
• Experience in fluoroscopy and in emergency/operating room settings

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations and assists with fluoroscopic examinations.
• Operates x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Checks image quality and ensures correct patient demographics in RIS/PACS.
• Maintains safety and radiation protection standards.
• Documents exams and billing in the department system.
• Assists physician with patient education and positioning.
