Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring Radiology Technologists to join our clinics at River Road, Sunset, and Desert Color. The two positions include rotating weekend schedules and a flexible desert-color assignment, with a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT certification, state license if applicable, and BLS. The roles require patient care excellence, accuracy in imaging, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and state license as applicable.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• May be required to complete MA Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in clinic settings.
• Openings for 2 Radiology Technologists with clinic assignments across River Road, Desert Color, and Sunset clinics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Verify patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist and instruct students and other Radiology Techs in exam protocols and procedures.
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient information, procedures, and adverse reactions.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and report equipment failures.
